Prime Minister says Khaleda Zia will get all benefits, ex-PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has instructed BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to make all the facilities during her visit to Cox's Bazar, said Road Transport and Public Administration and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader. He said, "The Prime Minister made clear that he (Khaleda Zia) is the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh. He will use the circuit house, stay in the VIP room. There should be no error during his stay and position. He said these at a press conference organized by the ministry's office in the Secretariat on Sunday.
Obaidul Quader said BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia appealed to use the Circuit House of different districts for the purpose of distributing relief among the Rohingya people to Cox's Bazar. Feni, Chittagong and Cox's Bazar district administrators (DC) called me to know the government's position on this issue. I talked to the Prime Minister about the matter. Later, the Prime Minister gave these instructions.
He further said, I have given some additional instructions to the DC regarding getting the instructions of the Prime Minister. I told the DC, if the Khartala ji is not connected to the place of tourists in the Circuit House, then the rest houses of the road division should be used.
The minister said Khaleda Zia wanted permission to take salat and rest at the rest house of the road division at Chakaria, on Sunday. I gave it permission. But at this Chittagong Circuit House, Sheikh Hasina was not given VIP room. He is the president of our party. We stood in the field for hours with him. The same incident happened in Barisal. Why do not we get better if they are bad.
